East Clare Golf Club

The parkland championship course, designed by noted golf architect Dr. Arthur Spring, was opened in 1997 and is located just 5 minutes from beautiful Lough Derg and about 35 minutes from Shannon Airport. Woodpark Golf
Tucked in along the western side of Lough Derg, Woodpark Golf Course offers visitors, be they complete novices or seasoned veterans, a wonderful opportunity to enjoy a relaxed round of golf in idyllic surroundings. Located just five minutes drive from the lakeside village of Mountshannon the course is approached along quiet country roads, which offer occasional and tantalizing glimpses of Lough Derg and the varied ancient and beautiful landscapes of this part of East Clare.

If you can tear yourself away from the scenery to contemplate the course spread out around you it will be immediately apparent that water, both visually and in play, is very much a feature of the course. The layout however is gimmick free and extremely user-friendly
Location: Just three miles from Scariff on the main Scariff-Portumna road, near Mountshannon.
